"The secret fear of the morally depraved is that virtue is actually common, and that they’re the ones who are alone."
Still weird that twitters feed here stops after ~20 posts. Just can't scroll down further or load more posts.

ICE run over U.S. citizen riding his bike—break his arm.
Agents handcuff him behind his back without calling paramedics.
They inflict even more injuries—send him to the hospital in serious condition.
Then agents detain another U.S. citizen—for yelling at them on the sidewalk.
Man with the broken arm's daughter says he was hit on his e-bike by an unmarked car.
He was then tased twice and pinned to the ground—currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
Multiple ICE vehicles were running through stop signs—speeding the wrong way down one-way streets.
All on a weekend afternoon with kids playing outside.
Incident occurred near the intersection of East 56th Street & Elm Avenue in Long Beach, California.
Stop ICE Net doesn't have an account on this platform—so posting first full length, English translated, and credited video here to help raise awareness.
I have 1,337 Followers here, but got ~100 views. Is there a content problem here, like on LinkedIn where because there isn't enough content, what little content there is is shown to too many people?
This site's offering interesting paying accounts has to be criminal. No amount of interest can compensate for the the risk in giving his enterprises any money at all. This must be some scam to rip off the FDIC when it goes bankrupt.

Sept. 11 never gets easier for those who experienced it / lived through it.
DC was chaotic to say the least. Reliable information was nearly impossible to get. Cell phones stopped working due to overloaded networks. No one felt safe in Federal Government buildings. Smoke in the air made it difficult to tell where there were real or imagined threats. The roads were impassable, so most of us walked across the city to reconnect with our families. Everyone kept wondering what was going to happen next.
The Pentagon being hit added a whole new level of concern. Not only did. Most of know someone who worked there either as a member of the armed forces or contractors. The building was also seen as impregnable. It’s like a fortress. If something bad could happen there in addition to NYC, then where were we safe?
I’ve had a quarter century of hate in my heart for this day and for those who caused it. It isn’t indifference. Hate. Loathing. I don’t see that changing.
Did the twitter "For you" (algorithm) change?
It used to be, like, chock full of Elon Musk's content (right wing misinfo and rage bait). Was there a shift in the internal power structure at twitter?

Step 1: export twitter archive.
Step 2: 'upload' to mawkingbird (no server component, it doesn't leave your browser)
Step 3: find all your friends on mastodon (login and go to settings/import friends)

"Overall, it’s helpful for all of us to stop looking at <Twitter> as what the people think and start looking at it more like what a bunch of lunatics who spend too much time on the internet think."

Twitter got rid of the infinite scroll. I guess that is a improvement. If you scroll down enough, you run out of tweets, maybe 80-100 tweets tops.

So retweets used to be retweets, then likes were retweets and now replies are retweets too. 50% of my feed here is the original post that someone I am following replied to.
On Mocking Bird (mawkingbird.com) Get a mastodon account and a bluesky account and you can follow most of the people that left Twitter.

I'm still working out how to get more peeps off twitter or at least follow them from other platforms. With the API nerfed and Nitter being directly attacked by the last 2 engineers at this website, it is difficult.
