Excited and a bit nervous to announce our 2023 conferences. Trying to keep a balance between the accessibility of virtual and the obvious benefits of seeing humans in person. It will be another experiment like always, but also excited to get this into the world❤️
📣 2023 conference announce:
* Portland, May 7-9 -- in-person in Portland!
* Atlantic, September 10-12 -- virtual in EDT/CEST timezone
We're excited for this "save the date" announcement out. Read the details in our blog post, with more to come soon!

#Python limitation: The functools.cached_property() decorator blocks parallel calculation of cached values, even for *distinct* instances of the same class.
This makes it completely unsuitable for I/O bound methods in a threaded environment.

Python uses reStructuredText as documentation, since 2002, before markdown existed.
PEP 287 is the proposal for adopting rst as Python docstring format.
rst since then has been used widely within Python community for documentation.
