Babygirl
this song holds so much of what the album means for me, it’s the THUMPING heart of it.
It’s about trusting yourself enough to follow your own instincts and finding value in the parts of u that don’t always fit neatly.
@officialdoechii felt so obvious for this song because i’ve always admired how she’s leaned into exactly who she is and the world met her there. her grammy speech made me SNOT SOB 😭 love u forever doe🩷
to the girls who hear a different song in their head!! <333
It’s actually sad
The idea of being alone scares people more than being with the wrong person. It’s really unfortunate because there’s no quality control whatsoever. Everyone’s just settling because it’s better to have a terrible relationship than to be alone. It’s like people have given up on believing that they can have more. And being alone at peace is more.

Never underestimate how stupid the average male is.
They are socialised to not reflect or ponder or sympathise. Their curiosity is capped at making money, business, sports & partying.
Very few of them perceive the world through an empathetic lens or are well-read.
I think some of you are taking this post out of context & reducing the entire conversation to “LAZY” which I don’t think is the point at all.
Ayra can be many things, but LAZY? Absolutely not.
Now, back to the actual point of the post
‘LEAVING A MARK ON PEOPLE’S MINDS’
For someone whose album cover art & rollout were heavily centered around the colour purple and that very distinct Nigerian GELE, you’d expect the visual identity to carry into performances and appearances. Let us see her perform in the purple gele, or incorporate it into her looks in some way.
But the album dropped & suddenly, we stopped seeing the gele. Meanwhile, the fans are wearing it more than she is.
I honestly think they should have allowed the gele aesthetic to marinate for months & become synonymous with the album. The goal should be to create such a strong visual association that, years from now, whenever & wherever pple see a gele, their first thought is either ‘Starr Girl’ or Ayra Starr.
That’s what it means to leave a mark. It’s about creating an identity pple can instantly associate with ‘Starr Girl’ or Ayrastarr.
Why did I get married again was absolutely crap. I can’t get my time back. Tyler Perry has to be stopped lol

Truth!
They will wake up by the time it gets to 500k streams.
Her fans had tried enough and they are definitely tired. Personally i am tired . The last thing i will ever do is to keep wasting my energy over someone who is not ready to win. I will continue to support ayra starr but not beyond my limit. She and her team are too careless for my liking especially that Don jazzy.
You can not continue to use the same method and expect different results. Hot body, she and her team messed it up, last heartbreak song, the same thing, heaven baby the same thing.
By the time she and her team released Hot baby video, the anticipation was already gone. The same nonsense they are doing to Heaven baby.
By the time they released heaven baby video, the morals would have gone.
Any edeoooot that comes to my comment section to insult me should be ready to be blocked.
Ravyn Lanae’s music is so good! I am so late to her game but glad I took a deep dive! open.spotify.com/track/2od6V…

Natanya (@n4t4nya) says the rise of AI is an unfortunate symptom of a trend in recent years towards imperfections and human flair being removed from music.
"It's the symptom of something really wrong that we're getting tricked [by AI], because we've been conditioned to appreciate and accept music that doesn't have human flair in it, which I think is awful,” she says.
”Even in the way that we track vocals, we try and blur out all of the imperfections, and vocal coaching is now about being completely on pitch, rather than the feel, which is kind of stupid.”
Natanya’s new album ‘ATTITUDE ERA’ arrives on September 20.

#Sagittarius need freedom, honesty, and peace. The moment a situation starts feeling forced, fake, or draining, they start pulling away.
People are lying about the new Ayra Starr album. It’s not good and it’s my least favourite! She has lost the sauce she had when she debuted. TYIT21 and 19 and Dangerous are much better than Starrgirl! She did not follow through on the concept and it’s disappointing #AyraStarr
