TETHER CAN DELETE YOUR BALANCE. IT'S WRITTEN INTO THE CODE.
Not freeze it. Delete it.
The USDT contract has a function called destroyBlackFunds. It has been there since the 2017 Ethereum deployment.
Here is what it does, in order. It checks that your address is already blacklisted. It reads your balance into a variable the developers named "dirtyFunds". It sets your balance to zero. It subtracts that amount from total supply. Then it logs the event.
No function can reverse it. Once it runs, that balance is gone forever.
The blacklist function names the address it targets "_evilUser". That is how the code sees you before anyone has proven anything.
Only Tether's owner multisig can call it, on Ethereum and on Tron. A court can't. A regulator can't. When a government wants your money, Tether is the one that executes.
Then comes step two. Tether mints the same amount fresh to whoever it chooses: a victim, a court address, a government address. Net supply change is zero. Your money just changed owners.
The DOJ described this exact process in a forfeiture case filed in Massachusetts in March 2025, over roughly $9,016,612 in USDT. Burn, then reissue.
USDC can block a wallet but can't burn the balance. Tether built the eraser in from the start.
They keep promising you there will be no CBDC.
It already exists. It runs on Tron and Ethereum, and it has an owner.
Bitcoin doesn't. Exit with Bitcoin.

Possibly the best Bitcoin advertisement ever made.
It's your money, until you ask for it back.

Bitcoin critics always ask, “What if the internet goes down?”
My brother in Christ, if the entire internet goes down, your Vanguard account is also gone, the grocery store is being managed by a National Guard teenager, and a bearded woman at the Burger King drive-thru has declared herself regional warlord.
You will have larger concerns than checking the mempool.

"Crypto" is going to zero. Bitcoin is going to 1M+.
I've been working on Bitcoin since early 2013 when it was ~$50. First it was going to zero because of Silk Road. Then Mt. Gox. Then governments were going to ban it. Then it was slow technology and it was going to be crushed by all of the other coins. Then Sam Bankman-Fried and FTX were sending it to zero. Now there are new narratives. New people that are far too levered, don't understand Bitcoin, but are somehow here to fix it.
Yet, somehow, here we are. A $1T asset.
Bitcoin has been the best thing I could have poured my life into over the last 13+ years. Meanwhile, trust in governments and their ability to stop destroying the people and their purchasing power has never been worse in those same 13+ years.
At the end of the day, my advice to you: the Bitcoin journey is a hero's journey. You kill your ego. You surrender the idea that you're the all-knower of the future, the main character, and important enough to matter to this thing. Bitcoin doesn't care what you think and it doesn't need your permission. You either have the balls to build conviction in it or you don't. You built Barstool, you know this. There is no free lunch. Nobody gets paid to show up when things are easy. Life isn't charity. Participation trophies are worthless. Those that end up getting paid do so because they build something that was simply too hard for others.
Nobody has to convince you of anything. You have to convince you. If you believe in the government and their ability to not print away your purchasing power, sell us your bitcoins. If you don't and you think Bitcoin is an idea worth believing in, have some guts.
Your choice. Bitcoin has been and will continue to be successful either way. It's on a journey of its own and it will be there for you whenever you're ready.
Whoever tries to talk you out of your obsessions by highlighting your failures does it to make themselves feel better about their own life, in favour of their own ego.
The opposite of obsessed is not moderate, but average.
First slowly, then all at once.
Quoting Alex Hormozi, the biggest indicator of success is maintaining discipline when facing rejection and failure.
It takes a disproportionate, relentless amount of effort without seeing any results or rewards for long periods of time to achieve anything worth achieving.

"Bitcoin isn't backed by anything."
Let me stop you right there.
Bitcoin is backed by energy. Real energy. Kilowatts. Heat. Physics.
The kind of backing you can't print, fake, or vote into existence at an emergency Fed meeting.
Every block mined is a thermodynamic proof of work. Not a promise. Not a policy. Proof.
The issuance schedule has never been amended by a committee. Not once. Not ever. Because there is no committee.
There's just math. Cold, indifferent, and immune to political theater.
The network is secured by more raw computing power than anything humanity has ever built. Hundreds of exahashes per second standing guard. Every single day.
Now let's talk about what is backed by nothing.
The dollar.
It's is backed by confidence. Specifically, confidence in the institution that printed $6 trillion in two years while telling you 3% inflation was healthy and you should be grateful for the soft landing.
In the same people who can't pass an audit.
Who fund wars with a credit card.
Who promise solvency while sitting on $39 trillion in debt and accelerating.
"Backed by nothing" isn't an attack on Bitcoin.
It's a confession about the dollar.
Follow if you're serious about building wealth they can't print away.

Most systems in life function better under centralized governance, but digital cash is one of the rare exceptions where a decentralized system is clearly superior.
A centralized culture is far more effective at preserving and upholding its core principles than a decentralized one. Without a strong culture around Bitcoin that actively defends those principles, you end up with scammy shitcoiners running nodes and pushing changes that erode Bitcoin’s foundations.
To truly preserve Bitcoin’s decentralized, borderless, open-source, and peer-to-peer nature, people must be centrally aligned around the idea that these characteristics are non-negotiable.
When participants interpret the protocol however they like, you get Ethereum, XRP, and thousands of other distractions that waste time and undermine the separation of money and state.
You cannot genuinely support decentralized, borderless, open-source, peer-to-peer money while also maintaining your own personal philosophy about what it “really is.”
These are Bitcoin’s core principles:
• DECENTRALIZED
• TRULY SCARCE
• CENSORSHIP RESISTANT
• A DISTRIBUTED LEDGER
• INCORRUPTIBLE
(These five properties set Bitcoin apart from every other cryptocurrency)
• PERMISSIONLESS
• AUDITABLE
• TRANSPARENT
• IMMUTABLE
• BORDERLESS
• HARD TO COUNTERFEIT
• PSEUDONYMOUS
• FRICTIONLESS
• TRUSTLESS
• PEER-TO-PEER
These are not suggestions open to interpretation, they are factual, measurable characteristics. Developing your own personal philosophy around them should not be encouraged. Anything that opposes these principles, whether at the code level or the cultural level, opposes Bitcoin and the separation of money and state.
Participants who reinterpret, develop their own “unique philosophy”, or dilute these core principles should not be tolerated. They should be treated with hostility by the culture surrounding Bitcoin for opening the door to changes that erode Bitcoin’s foundations.
This also applies to Bitcoin artwork. If it does not align with the mission to separate money and state, then it is not Bitcoin art.
Bitcoin art does not need fiat art school pseudo-intellectual, conceptual gobbledygook or philosophical mental masturbation. It needs artists who are monetary maximalists, fighting with pen, pencil, and brush to destroy fiat.
