On March 13th, 20-year-old Private Ana Basaldua Ruiz was found dead in her quarters at Ft. Hood, Texas. Join us in demanding an independent investigation into Ana Basaldua Ruiz’s death and the culture of sexual harassment at Fort Hood, Texas: bit.ly/3ZLEaSW
Family members of Basaldua have reported that she confided in them that she was being sexually harassed, including by one of her superiors.
Officials from the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division say they are investigating this as a suicide with no evidence of foul play. But this case is eerily similar to other cases of reported sexual harassment, including that of @IVanessaGuillen.

Have you heard about the proposed changes to our asylum laws? What does that mean for Latinos and other migrants seeking help and refuge? What does it mean for our families and friends? Join us as we chat about all this and more with @WelcomeWDignity LIVE on IG at 3pm EST on 3/16
