In December 2020 @BarrettB announced the return of Project PM, and afterwards a certain sect announced their intention to "take down Barrett Brown's crew." We relaunched the @ProjPM wiki in March, and the pushback has been considerable, yet the research continues unimpeded.🤷‍♂️
Announcing the return of #ProjectPM and the launch of #ProjectSwartz and #ProjectHastings Video conference from December 19th, featuring Barrett Brown, Lauri Love, @GreggHoush, @SplendidSpoon, @fiondavision, and other old-school #Anonymous youtu.be/hd0K60D2hCU

I can’t say I was a whistleblower because nobody gave a shit. Nobody gave a shit except for those who invested 10 years making sure that nobody listened Lesson: there’s no margins in defending yourself against false accusations; defensiveness is reframed as admission of guilt

Truth takes time. You have to be patient. It took me almost 10 years to get my name out of an article describing an event I had nothing to do with. It took 10 years. You have to be patient. Truth takes time.

Anybody remember “process democracy?” What happens when one or two individuals demand transparency and accountability from others but offer none of it for themselves? What happens when these same individuals fedjacket those who refuse to conform to their authoritarian demands?

People don’t remember what you say, they remember how you made them feel. This is why it’s dangerous to tell the truth. If you’re a truth teller, you’re going to encounter a lot of “popular truth tellers” who will do their best to discourage you Some of them work for the Feds.
This is a reminder that journalist Michael Hastings was murdered by a corporatized extension of the military and intelligence community. Q: Which one? A: The one spun up by the same rogue element that Hastings reported upon in Rolling Stone. Duh. bbc.com/news/magazine-229791…

You can use the NIST cyber security framework as a Rosetta Stone for understanding how regulatory controls ultimately map into the same framework The important thing to remember is that these are fundamentally different philosophical controls relative to frameworks like GDPR.
Most “specialized” cybersecurity frameworks are just expensive rebrands. PCI DSS. HIPAA. CMMC. NERC CIP. IEC 62443. HITRUST. Different logos. Same DNA. They’re almost all just ISO 27001 + NIST + CIS Controls with industry lipstick and a compliance tax. The real specialization? Billing hours and certification fees. Master the three foundations. Map the deltas. Everything else is mostly theater. Stop falling for the framework-of-the-month scam.

The listed regulatory controls are typically around managing corporate risk; GDPR is about protecting individual privacy American security vendors seek exemptions from GDPR claiming that they have a need to violate personal privacy to deliver community benefit. Not always true.

If you’re a whistleblower, here’s a warning. I didn’t know this when I came seeking help: These circles are filthy with fed collaborators, and they sustain a state of paranoia making it near impossible for *actual advocates* to receive anyone new. It’s worse than I realized.

When I entered these circles I’d been freshly driven from my professional career after contacting the media with a story I thought mattered - a rookie mistake. I made a second mistake thinking “independents” like Ron were interested in whistleblower journalism. I was wrong.

“Sleepthegod?” I don’t know who half these fucking losers are, but I DO know this: There’s so much drama of zero consequence that occurs on this platform. What a seething pile of fucking losers, sustaining what I call “the chamber of ancient and unimportant beefs.”

While EZLN ideology is similar to libertarian socialism, the Zapatistas have rejected political classification The EZLN aligns itself with the wider alter-globalization, anti-neoliberal social movement, seeking indigenous control over local resources, especially land. #LandBack

Ouroboros: the snake eats its tail Don’t think you’ll be received by a whistleblowing org: you’re ignored unless you have a brand Chicken and egg: institutional persecution is the only way to establish a brand Therefore: the institution gatekeeps the domain of whistleblowing
Not surprised; 4chan is now a right wing cesspool; their aligning philosophy is the nihilism of accelerationism Irony: accelerationism is a Marxist ideology On the “left” whistleblowers are subject to marginalization by “anti-capitalist” activists protecting their Twitter brand

This project (@ProjSwartz) was launched to provide resources and assistance to those who are being harassed by feds, cops, and their collaborators The @cthulhu_awakens effort has been a good one 💪 and is worthy a follow
lmao this is the same Jonathan Scott who used his troll farm to attempt a manipulation of @Austin_Police and @TxDPS into swatting me a couple months ago, in retribution for highlighting his defense of “Pegasus” spy software that’s placed on trade embargo by the US government 💪

Portland is America’s largest race-segregated city, and it’s filthy with fake leftists who adopt the language of resistance and anti-racism but reveal their true selves as soon as fascism is levied to their benefit de Beauvoir’s quote is precisely on point ✅
I can’t get enough of you fascists revealing who you really are Y’all are 1312 till the cops do your bidding, then yall deepthroat the boot 🍿 I see you 👀

Replying to @citizenlab
@citizenlab did great and repeatable research on mercenary spyware used by oppressive governments to spy on journalists citizenlab.ca/2023/04/nso-gr… Jonathan runs a “trolling for profit” biz defending these governments by running targeted harassment campaigns against their critics
Jonathanscott1 helps poor innocent governments defend themselves against human rights organizations. Why won't anyone think of the poor governments????

Citizen Lab and Amnesty International have identified a category of spyware used by oppressive government spy upon journalists and activists citizenlab.ca/2023/04/nso-gr… As you can see, individuals that call attention to the use of this mercenary spyware are targeted for harassment
I’m fine, y’all 🌈 These guys are trying to manipulate Austin PD and/or DPS into a swatting It’ll blow over 🤷‍♂️ and they’ll move onto their next victim (99% of the time their victim is a woman) It’s just a thing that happens on the internet, which fortunately is not real
