11 years ago today, the Supreme Court handed down Obergefell v. Hodges.
Americans were told it was about love and dignity. What they weren’t told: children would pay the price.
A new poll proves the tide is turning. 🧵

11 years ago, SCOTUS redefined marriage. What followed was a redefinition of parenthood.
For the next 6 days, we’re counting down the ways Obergefell has directly harmed children.
The children never got a vote.

Thank you PFLN. I’m proud of this legislation. It’s what our kids need to really learn about our founding and what it means and why we should be supportive of legislation like this.
Thank you, Rep. @Barbara_Ehardt, for your leadership in advancing strong civics ed, equipping the next generation with a clear understanding of our nation’s values & freedoms. SB 1336 ensures students learn how totalitarian ideologies contrast with America’s founding principles.

My most personal speech yet on HB25-1259.
I wasn’t going to speak again, but this one hit too close to home.
For 4 years, my husband and I battled infertility. We cried, we prayed, we paid every penny we had—and nearly lost our marriage in the process. That’s the face of IVF. That’s the reality of so many couples in Colorado.
Yet this bill treats embryos as property. It removes fathers from the equation. And it opens the door for lawsuits, heartbreak, and even medical experimentation on the most vulnerable.
I offered common-sense amendments to protect embryos, give both parents a voice, and provide real choice—including access to abortion pill reversal. Every one was denied.
HB25-1259 passed 3rd reading in the House and is on to the Senate.
Plain and simple - this bill fails women, families, and the babies we fight to have. I won’t be silent.
I voted NO on HB25-1259 and urge the Senate to do the same.

My dad and I were honored to stand alongside incredible legislators in our Pro-Family Legislative Network—Representative Mindy McAlindon and Senator Jim Dotson—who sponsored the transactional gold and silver bill as Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders became the first in the nation to sign this bill into law. The legislation creates, a great safeguard against inflation and makes gold and silver accessible to Arkansans and Americans to be used in every day transactions across the country. We are grateful for the tremendous work of our friend and economist Kevin Freeman for creating this valuable policy and helping Arkansas become the first state to pass it into law. Thanks to the efforts of the team at Economic War Room, states across the country are considering similar legislation this session.

Last week, I signed into law HB 71 making Louisiana the first state to require the Ten Commandments to be displayed in the classroom. I believe this is a step in the right direction to restore morals and values for current and future generations in Louisiana.
Fun Fact: After being elected Attorney General in 2016, I commissioned this art piece from @McNaughtonArt called “Justice For All”. The art piece depicts influential lawgivers in American history, including Moses who is holding the Ten Commandment tablets.
