Once again, what should have been a peaceful evening, with members of the public gathering to watch the sunset from the summit of Primrose Hill, has instead resulted in another significant police response.
On arrival, officers were met with violence, with bottles thrown directly at them as they responded to reports of fighting. One teenage girl was also taken to hospital after reportedly taking what is believed to be illegal drugs.
For many, watching the sunset from Primrose Hill is an opportunity to enjoy one of London’s most iconic views. Instead, the reckless actions of a minority continue to turn these gatherings into disorder.
