This is so badass
When a third-grader is obsessed with the NFL draft, what do you do?
90% of teachers would suggest research, trifold boards, a report, and a presentation about what she learned.
10% of teachers would email the Arizona Cardinals and say, “We have a third grader who’s worked on an analysis of the upcoming draft. Can she present it to your team and intern for a day on your stats team?”
Those 10% are difficult to find.
But when you empower them to launch their own school, they can change the world.

There are now 50,000+ new locations where microschools can open across Florida.
If we’re going to fix our K-12 education system, we need to launch 1,000’s of new schools.
Let's get to work.

Here is my full conversation with @delk. In which we talk about:
- How he moved to the Bay Area and broke into tech at the age of 19
- The way he builds relationships for the long-term
- How his history being homeschooled and learning from his mom shaped his views on education
- His mental models for recruiting, culture, and performance of teams
- The value of friendship -- ours in specific and close friends in general
Much more, as always. Enjoy! (And let us know what you think)

The three commitments we make to every Primer family:
1. Take kids seriously. Student agency > everything.
2. Math & literacy are the foundations of learning. 100 mins/day of each. Non-negotiable.
3. Pursuits. The space + structure to work hard on real-world projects.
