Yesterday, I joined my fellow Chicagoans in Oz Park to protest the violence perpetuated by Trump’s ICE agents — including the murder of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis. I also joined the LGBTQ+ community in a vigil for Renee, who leaves behind her wife and kids. This administration has mobilized federal agents for illegal actions across the country. CBP needs to be back at the border where they belong, and ICE needs to leave our streets.
