Congress had 261 voting days scheduled for this term. Republican leadership has cancelled 63 of those days so far. The American people work hard and they deserve lawmakers who show up and do their job, not ones who cancel votes and skip town.

I stand with the families who continue to grieve, and I will always honor the heroic first responders who ran toward danger to save lives and help those trapped in the aftermath. While it’s important to hold close the memories of those we lost, we must also continue our commitment to supporting those who struggle with health challenges caused by the attacks. I remain steadfast in my dedication to ensuring the heroes of 9/11 and their families receive all the resources they need and deserve. As we reflect on this anniversary, let us also celebrate the strength and resolve of our nation that carried us through one of our darkest moments.

Today marks one year since the Trump administration started launching unauthorized military strikes on boats in the Caribbean. Over 200 people have been killed in these operations, without due process and without clear confirmation that they were affiliated with terrorist organizations, as Trump claims. Enough is enough; it’s time for transparency and accountability from this administration and our military.
