So when dining at the @caffeconcerto in Covent Garden Piazza at the weekend I was presented with the bill which included a 12.5% service charge. When given the CC machine to pay. It was pre set to ask for the service charge again! 10/12.5/15/20% 1/2
When questioned the waiter said “that was for him!” I have tried to contact @caffeconcerto to ask why? No reply! Maybe someone else can enlighten me as to why a company can request service charge twice?
So @caffeconcerto after two emails and a phone call to discuss a potential staff fraud at your Covent Garden caffe? You seem not to be interested? I would like you to address this before I put a warning out to other customers!
