‘The kids need to be able to play freely and they can’t do that if they’re in restrictive uniform.’ @GD_Primary
🏃🏽♀️81% of people believe being physically active during the school day helps improve children’s mood, focus, and overall wellbeing. @OPAL_CIC
Schools are being urged to adopt an active uniform policy to encourage children to be more physically active during the day. It comes as a survey found more than 3/4 of parents support the idea, and more than half believe the traditional 'office-style' uniform places too much emphasis on appearance.

📣 NEW TREES NEED WATERING
The Met Office has reported that March was the sunniest on record. It’s been unseasonably dry, and newly planted trees are meant to be experiencing wetter weather.
So pass this message on: if you have a baby tree on your street, give it some water!💧
This small act of kindness will help protect young trees from drying out.
