Is local manufacturing of solar appliances viable in #Ethiopia? Is it also possible to supply the #African market where more than 560 million people have no electricity? @PreciseConsult found that 10 #Ethiopian firms currently have the capacity to assemble or manufacture 500,000 solar home systems a year. But they are only operating at 19% capacity.
