I haven't discussed my cancer in a while, but a few days ago I received some news which has confirmed my current whereabouts, and I felt it was worth sharing. THREAD 1/

Every DC show under James Gunn involves the main character having sex with the villain
Peacemaker (PM and the butterflies)
CC (Rich flag Sr and the princess)
Lanterns (John and the manhunter)
And the next DC show is The Jimmy Olsen and Gorilla Grodd show

I voted for Haley Stevens.
Haley Stevens did not run a serious primary campaign. Here's why:
Stevens had tens of millions of dollars in outside spending and huge institutional support, and her campaign assumed that money and those resources would carry her to the finish line. They didn’t.
Dr. El-Sayed ran a campaign where all the odds were stacked against him. He had no institutional support. None. He had a fraction of the money and no outside spending, and his campaign didn’t even try to get any Super PAC spending. Running a fully small-dollar campaign is hard!
Do you know what Abdul had? Events, organizing, and volunteers. That’s where “the many vs. the money” came from.
While the Stevens campaign let the ads do the heavy lifting, Abdul was out campaigning anywhere and everywhere. While she campaigned almost exclusively in Southeast Michigan, he went all over the state and built a huge coalition with rural voters up north.
Haley didn't do her first event up north until the week before the primary, and she didn't spend her time going everywhere and meeting with everyone. Candidly, Haley ran a similar campaign to what Mike Rogers is running today—hardly any events, lots of money, and lots of outside spending.
In the end, Abdul won a race he was never supposed to win: little money, no institutional support, and a mountain of super PAC spending against him. Very few candidates have defied odds like that.
Abdul will do it again in two weeks. Stay tuned

NEWS: As Republicans target Democrat Abdul El-Sayed's medical credentials, more than 700 Michigan doctors are endorsing his campaign for U.S. Senate. detroitnews.com/story/news/p…
.@NYCMayor Mamdani on U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI): "His victory...is of critical importance to our city, because what it also indicates is a willingness to chart a new course in Washington that has working people at the heart of it."
Man who refuses to enforce the democratic candidate suddenly realizing his chickens might be coming home to roost.
The first time I saw this card was this very picture. My team and I have nothing to do with this.
I do not support Mike Rogers, do not affiliate with Mike Rogers, and have not encouraged anyone to vote for Mike Rogers. I have been clear on this.
We have been knocking doors aggressively throughout our district with the Michigan Dems CD-11 slate card.

You can tell that kid at the townhall was a plant because Rogers had talking points and media hits designed to use AES's response as a talking point. When Abdul immediately disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood, Rogers and his team have to just pretend like that didn't happen.

The “Tommy” show in the viral video from Abdul El-Sayed is a former staffer for Sen. Josh Hawley and the son of a GOP strategist.

Mike Rogers is really the worst of the fucking worst and shame on every "democrat" supporting this asshole
Yet you refuse to endorse the democratic senate candidate who could fight him.
I just filled out my ballot as an MI-11 voter. We need unity, not your dysfunction and Islamophobia. You did not receive my vote. All other dems did.
I doubt I’m the only one.
Nowhere in the country is feeling the pain of this reckless tariff standoff more than right here in Michigan. Our Canadian partners are essential to the manufacturing base that powers our economy here at home.
Congress must re-assert its authority and reign in Trump's reckless agenda.

Leaked audio of Mike Rogers calling on Republicans to use off-duty police officers to intimidate voters in Detroit in an attempt to manipulate the Michigan Senate race:

This is an insane thing to do.
Alito will retire soon and the MI race could determine control of the Senate.
If Republicans have control, Trump will replace Alito with a young conservative, locking up the seat for decades.
Put on your big boy pants and quit this bullshit.
Detroit News: Former Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party is leading an effort to make sure Democrats leave their ballot blank for the US Senate race in Michigan.
Lon Johnson, the former chair, supported Rep. Haley Stephens over El-Sayed in the August Democratic primary.

UPDATE: @DropSiteNews has received a letter from attorneys representing Mike and Kristi Rogers, demanding a retraction of the below article and threatening litigation.
We have updated it to include comment from their counsel. We stand by our reporting and will defend it if necessary.
Mike Rogers second wife worked for Paul Bremer in Iraq.
Rogers divorced his wife in 2007 and married Kristi Clemens in 2010.
After her Iraq job, Kristi launched the U.S. branch of Aegis, a security contractor, which got a billion dollar contract after Mike Rogers became chair of the Intel Committee. Kristi Rogers took credit for it in a now-deleted bio.
Then in 2014, Rogers faced criticism from the right for slow-walking the Benghazi investigation in order to protect his wife and her firm, which was doing work in Libya.
After his divorce, Rogers broke, his disclosures show. His wealth surged as his wife’s company raked in taxpayer money.

My opinion: If you are ok potentially losing the senate, losing out of approving judge, cabinet members, and other executive officers, and losing out on bicameral work just because you don’t want a brown guy, you are greenlighting every leftist to sit out 2028.
OPINION: For many Democrats, leaving the ballot blank instead of voting for El-Sayed is an act of dignity. detroitnews.com/story/opinio…
