I’m told that in cabinet this morning from someone in the room that PM spoke “really movingly” when this he received the carriage clock. Apparently, his Dad loved clocks and had loads of them - they were his biggest love after his family - and that fed back to his tool-making & love of precision. I’m told he got a standing ovation and the mood was emotional

Saw somebody all by themselves at the movie theater. I guess they don't have anyone in their life, no one at all. Me and everyone I was with (friends, lovers, etc) were all really uncomfortable, we missed the movie paying attention to them. Even the workers couldn't believe it.
