Teachers canโt even give kids Tylenol without their parentsโ permission. If you believe this youโre a fucking idiot.
Theyโre only re-opening it bc we got loud, but at least the investigation is back open. May justice be done.

The last 24 hours of news as a woman:
- A man jacks off to the woman next to him on a plane. United makes her return to her seat.
- 7 frat boys drug and gang rape a student for hours, and advertise โfree p*ssyโ to their frat. Cornell makes them write essays.
- A football player rapes a student. LSU reduces his suspension.
- A teen boy stalks and stabs a girl 10 times. Courts grant only a restraining order.
- Brendan Carr spent 9 years in a cult raping teen girls. Trump made him FCC Chair.

This iconic 1971 photo of Gloria Steinem and Dorothy Pitman Hughes has always said so much without saying a word.
Two women. Two raised fists. One shared fight for equality.
Dorothy passed in 2022. Now Gloria is gone too.
Two giants who helped change America. Rest in power, Gloria. โ๐ผโ๐พ

The feminist movement was never a threat to men.
Secure men have always understood that. They stood beside women, fought for equality, and some proudly called themselves feminists too.
If women having equal power feels like oppression to you, feminism isnโt the problem.

SHAME on @googlemaps
As a lake I donโt have much use for mapping apps except when I verify that Big Ass Lake really does exist.
But I will now use a different one.

I was given my name by the Iroquois Nation many hundreds of years ago. By 1660 my name was printed on maps by the Europeans as they accepted the Native name which means Beautiful waters.
In 1867 the Canadian government decided to use my name for their providence.

At 17 years old, Alex is starting over.
He is completely blind, but he is still the happy, loving, and affectionate cat we always knew.
For Alex, the world may look different now. But people are still his favorite part of it. We just hope his next person finds him soon.
