A new analysis has revealed that the Oil Industry generates a staggering $3bn-a-day profits for the last 50 years.
Around 52 Trillion $ has the power to buy “buy every politician, every system”, thus delay action on air pollution & climate crisis.

A proud moment for Indian engineering .. Proudly Indian 💚🇮🇳⚡️
Indian Automakers just topped the world in EV efficiency. Not Tesla. Not BYD. Tata and Mahindra.
Among the world's 22 largest automakers, Tata Motors and Mahindra posted the lowest energy consumption per km in 2025, beating Tesla and BYD on efficiency.
Indian engineering, built for Indian roads, is now setting the global benchmark.

“Incentives are important, but they only drive the initial push. It's the regulation that can shape the market. In India’s case, we must lead the #EV transition rather than following it,” said @amitbhatt4u, @TheICCT in response to remarks by @udaykotak, Founder, @KotakBankLtd, underscoring the need to accelerate the shift towards #ElectricMobility through a stronger and more effective regulatory framework.

Crisis → Opportunity.
87% oil dependence.
A clear EV roadmap:
⚡ Electrify mobility
⚡ Enable charging (Right to Charge)
⚡ Build a battery ecosystem
What’s missing isn’t vision, it’s execution at scale.
We’ve done it before.
Time to do it again.
Read. Reflect. Share.
The ongoing West Asia crisis is an important warning on India’s energy dashboard. India imports over 87% of its crude oil requirements.
This crisis can be a huge opportunity.
A five-point agenda, comprising 100% electrification of two- and three-wheelers by 2030, CAFE-3, electrification of buses and trucks, a Right to Charge, and a Bharat battery ecosystem, is what the country needs right now. These measures must move together.
Delivering transformational change at scale is not new to India. It has done so before: Jan Dhan Yojana, UPI, solar energy, vaccination, and the shift from Euro IV to Euro VI while bypassing Euro V, among others.
What is needed now is a similar level of clarity and execution in the EV transition. Today’s decisive action will shape supply chains, capital flows, and technological leadership for decades to come.

The ₹3.99/km battery cost for the new #eVitara comes with a massive asterisk.
✅It’s NOT a Rental, It’s a Loan: The "Battery-as-a-Service" is actually a dual-loan finance product. You take one loan for the car and a separate one for the battery. You are liable for the battery EMI regardless of usage.
✅The "60km/Day" Assumption: That attractive ₹3.99/km price? It’s calculated assuming you drive 60km every single day (1,800km/month).
👉 Reality Check: If you are a typical city driver doing 30km/day, your effective battery cost doubles because your EMI is fixed!
✅Hidden Costs: This price excludes charging costs, road tax, insurance, and other levies.
Do your own calculations before booking! #MarutiSuzuki #eVitara #EVIndia #CarBuyingAdvice

A 💚 PROUD MOVEMENT 🇮🇳
While some are still debating the 'what-ifs,' a home-grown EV player has already quietly moved on to the 'what's next.'
The @mahindraesuvs #XEV9e just picked up Car of the Year at the 2026 Auto9 Awards and Green Car of the Year at ICOTY 2026 and this wasn’t just a checkbox win. It topped the charts for real-world range, tech, and how well it fits Indian driving conditions, beating a crowded field of global names.
With 30,000+ cars already on Indian roads and a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating (including a perfect 32/32 in adult safety), the decision seems pretty straightforward. Thousands of Indian families are already making that “common sense” choice every day.
The future isn’t something we’re waiting for anymore. It’s already here, and it’s already 🏆winning.
Celebrating a double win.

Fact: In 2025, pollution-related illnesses account for 8-9% of all hospital claims in India. Shockingly, 43% of these claims are for children under 10. While a Hybrid "works" at 0% SOC by burning fuel, it continues to fuel this healthcare crisis.
