Once again, absolutely honoured to speak at @TaipeiWeek , sharing insights from the Web3 Gaming panel during my third year representing the space. Yes, many say Web3 Gaming is in a com (great moderating by @Gillian_Sovrun), I’d describe the current situation as if we're in a revival-ready state. So who’s to blame for where we are? I’d point to founders whose sole aim seemed to be one milestone: the TGE. That focus has left many products at MVP, not ready for prime time. Without naming names, why do many gaming companies raise millions only to ship games with Gameboy-quality graphics, citing nostalgia? Predictably, many of those fold after the TGE. That excuse is tired. If we’re going to build, let’s do it properly - no more black-and-white “nostalgia” gimmicks when we could be delivering truly immersive, high-quality experiences. A new wave of games is needed - games that embody how Web3 Gaming SHOULD be. Web3 Gaming will revive when we launch finished products that can generate revenue and survive beyond token price fluctuations. @tomoland_app is a finished product at launch. Let’s push toward that reality.

Pudgy Penguins: Beyond Hype to Cultural Habit (Web3 Lessons) @pudgypenguins cracked the code few Web3 brands do: true cultural capture. It’s not just floor prices or hype. They achieved: 1. Emotional Resonance: Made PFPs personal & cute cool. 2. IRL Breakout: Escaped the Web3 bubble. 3. Community = Identity: Built shared belief into collective identity. 4. Embedded Rituals: My "aha" moment? Seeing my girlfriend casually send a Pudgy GIF. That’s the shift: Pudgy isn't just a brand; it's a daily habit in DMs, chats, and reactions. The Lesson: Pudgy earns affection, not just attention. This is embedded media - lived, felt, shared. Every Pudgy is a vibe, a mood, a billboard for belief. Culture spreads when you give people something to BELIEVE IN, rally behind, and feel. (That's how you create brand apostles – your true superpower.) Pudgy mastered this. All in all... Product matters, but cultural presence wins.*

Yesterday’s YGG event was a tremendous success, hosted in a super cool Italian restaurant to commentate bitcoin Pizza day while also celebrating the launch of LOL Land x Pudgy Penguins game! Highlights for those who missed it: The run down from @cryptomal and I! 1. Amazing crowd, massively over subscribed, guest from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines, Korea, Canada, Czech and many more attended! 🇹🇼🇭🇰🇸🇬🇵🇭🇰🇷🇨🇦🇨🇿 2. Great hosting by @magicross7 , keeping all the audience engaged and entertained, always love his energy and if you have not seen him live you gotta come to the pudgy events 🔥🎤 3. Livestream on Abstract with @verabrandt00 leading the way with 2 hours straight of interviewing guest including @gabusch, founder of @LOLLandGame and @YieldGuild (special guest and host of the event) and many big KOLs like @yellowpantherx and @pukecast. 2000 people were tuning in 📺 4. Live pizza making by @FoxyPenguinApe, @AaronTeng and @gabusch! Not only did we eat great pizza, we saw it made live which was a joy to watch! I tired to get a good video but there were too many people 🍕 5. PUDGY X ABSTRACT MERCH- mouspad + tshirt which is super nicely designed and very high quality 10/10 and cant wait to wear it out! 🎁 6. Big shoutout to @Suenwins and many others who were running around like crazy trying to make everyone feel comfortable and organising such a successful event, is so cool that there is such a big and active student led organisation like the Sunway Blockchain Club, singapore really needs to keep the vibes and community up! 7.
