Builder Spotlight #7 This is a fun one. Asat Akhmedov built 'Which Happened First' at the @cognition | @DevinAI Hackathon in Budapest, a game where you can challenge your friends to order historical events chronologically with new daily challenges and worldwide player ratings. Be warned, once you open the link you'll probably end up playing for a while. Find the link to the game and Asat's LinkedIn in below 👇

Builder Spotlight #6 EAA Gatekeeper blocks a pull request if it breaks EU accessibility rules. Karim Hussain built it solo at the @cognition Hackathon in Budapest, on his first day using @DevinAI. It's a GitHub Action. On every PR it: 1. Checks only the JSX you changed 2. Comments on each problem line with the WCAG criterion, the EN 301 549 clause, the EAA reference and a suggested fix 3. Blocks the merge until it's fixed The legal citations come from a fixed table, not a model, so they can't be made up. Well done! Link to Karim's LinkedIn / EAA Gatekeeper repo in comments below!

Builder Spotlight #5 What if your coding agent doesn't need that expensive model every time? Amir Abdullah Zakaria built Preflight at the @cognition / @DevinAI Hackathon in Budapest. It scans a repo, creates a short task brief, then lets a cheaper model try first. If it fails, Preflight hands a better brief to a stronger model and trys again. In his test, Preflight helped a cheaper Haiku model solve all 5 seeded bugs while costing 32% less than using Sonnet. Reach Amir via LinkedIn & try out Preflight at the links below in comments 👇

Builder Spotlight #3 ShrinkWrap shows you how a SaaS company has changed its pricing over the years. Danial Umer (linkedin.com/in/danial-umer) built it at the @DevinAI Hackathon in Budapest. Paste a pricing page URL and it: 1. Pulls 5+ years of snapshots from the Wayback Machine 2. Pulls out every plan, price and limit 3. Flags price hikes, removed plans and tightened limits, each linked to the archived page 4. Gives the vendor an A to F grade Try it here: shrink-wrap-alpha.vercel.app… Keep building with @cognition!!

Builder Spotlight #2 Bankhar: Point your camera at a Budapest street dog/cat and catch it. (Demo: youtu.be/fcH11A0EhPs) Bankhar is like Pokémon GO for dogs and cats. Built at the Budapest Devin AI Hackathon it features on-device detection that only lights the shutter when a cat or dog is actually in frame, a custom breed classifier, and GPS that maps each catch to one of the city's 23 districts using bundled OpenStreetMap boundaries. Every catch becomes a stat card: Cuteness, Agility, Boldness, Floof, Wisdom, with deterministic rarity. Night catches boost Boldness, winter boosts Floof, and each district has its own biome stat. The feature that turns it from game to infrastructure: flag a card as lost and it becomes a city-wide live report sorted by distance. Every player in Budapest becomes a search party. What do you think of this one Cognition? ssh is low key a big deal
Introducing Devin Cloud in Terminal and devin ssh: two new ways to use Devin's computer. Create, steer, and resume Devin Cloud sessions right in your CLI with /cloud. And for the first time, SSH into Devin's dedicated VM, then /handoff the work back to your own device.

Introducing Devin Voice 🦦 ☎️ Your favorite AI software engineer just got a landline. You say it, Devin ships it. Powered by GPT-Live and our new SWE-2 model.
Introducing SWE-2, our closest model yet to the frontier. On leading evals, it scores on par with recent frontier models – at up to 70% lower cost. We scaled RL to multiple trillions of parameters, with a refined recipe that pushes the Pareto curve on both capabilities & cost.

We audited all 475 sites in the public WebMCP directory and asked one question: can the agent finish what it started? 148 let an agent buy, book, or sign up. 97% of those give it no way to cancel, return, or leave. 0 have an exit tool. WebMCP today is a sales funnel, not a service. So we built Full Loop for the @OpenAIDevs WebMCP Challenge. It maps a site's tools across 8 lifecycle stages, flags open loops, and drafts the missing registerTool stubs. The page is itself a WebMCP surface: your agent runs the audit and co-edits the fix with you. Static site, no backend, no AI API. MIT.
