THORChain was modelled after Bitcoin, to be permissionless and censorship resistant.
There’s no single person or entity in control of the protocol. There’s no admin key. There’s no 2-of-3 multisig. Currently, there’s 95 nodes spread globally that control the network. For the network to change a two thirds supermajority have to agree, resulting in a 64-of-95. No one can override that.
Bitcoin is neutral because the code is neutral, and the nodes enforce it.
THORChain is neutral because the code is neutral, and the nodes enforce it.

Integrating THORChain just got easier. No more choosing between complex setups or relying on third-party providers with extra fees.
The Native API gives builders direct access to swaps, removing the need for external layers and simplifying how wallets and DEXs connect to THORChain. Nothing changes under the hood, but the path to integration is now much cleaner.
Less friction, less fees, and a more direct way to plug into liquidity.

Rapid Swaps in action.
22.5 $BTC swapped for 718.4 $ETH in only 30 minutes yesterday.
That's $1.6M moved from one chain to another, natively, without any wrapped tokens or bridges involved.
The swap completed 41% faster than a standard streaming swap, saving roughly 12 minutes of execution time. Data available at boone.tools/rapid-swaps .
Trustless, permissionless, and unstoppable. The gap between THORChain and everything else is growing.

The $1 billion milestone just hit on swap.thorchain.org ⚡️
FINALLY! $1B+ in swaps on our interface!
Congrats to @THORChain and worldwide.
The swap volume on a THORChain DEX via 0-fee interface that we had privilege to build is about to cross the $1B volume mark!
That is not a total THORChain volume😁 but specifically the volume generated on
swap.thorchain[dot]org
And it happened in a bear market.
So why this interface?
- 0 fees on swaps. ZERO
- no KYC. No surveillance.
- swap assets without connecting a wallet
Grateful to the community for letting us build this.

Bittensor $TAO can be really interesting addition for @THORChain.

March was a quiet month but THORChain kept building and operating swaps.
🔹$801M volume
🔹 RapidSwap represent now 11.6% of volume share
🔹 SOL swaps are back live
🔹 And still 105 nodes securing the network
From revenue to shifting yield dynamics, the full breakdown is worth a read.

One piece of news from the Thorchain pod this morning:
Thorchain is working on a Bittensor integration.
This means that native Bitcoin (and other chains / assets) will be able to swap into native $TAO via DEX -- no centralized exchange required (!)
$BTC in Bitcoin wallet --> $TAO in Bittensor wallet.
One step.
Big volumes, no problem.

$THORChain sits 9th in total protocol revenue over the last 30 days.
No inflation. No token emissions to fake numbers. Pure fee revenue from real swaps.
9th in the entire industry. That's not a comeback story. That's a foundation.

THORChain is alive and well. It ranks 9th over the last 30 days total revenue.
THORChain is working on enabling XMR swaps, further increasing liquidity availability that has been lost due to the recent delisting from exchanges
even though monero is still listed on major exchanges like kraken or kucoin, the reality is that in the real world there is no sense of urgency to use crypto beyond wanting to get rich quick
what comes in the following years might be the most interesting developments in crypto adoption since the beginning of the space as people smarten up and flock out of participating in meme coins and other related scams
only then will the strongest survive and begin to thrive
