Lots of evidence that males and females have different efficacy & toxicity to 5FU. Our work has shown that there is a difference also in delays to dosing. With all this evidence we need to consider different male & female dosing of SACT tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.…
1) Quick question to oncologists. If you are currently not using a measured GFR( edta) for carbo dosing. and use estimated. If an alternative measured GFR option was available & was as good as edta would you switch?

Really pleased to share this paper funded by @BOPACommittee and @PharmResUK. Our work led by @ChengshengJ @RdppU shows the importance of cardio oncology- maybe we will see more cardio oncology pharmacists emerging or perhaps better collab with @PharmacistHF!

Our new study shows a reduced use of pharmacological treatment for heart failure after a cancer diagnosis. Better cardio-oncology services are needed for patients living with both conditions.
