The next system arrives Wednesday, with accumulating snowfall expected across the mountains and foothills. Additionally, a round of light snow ahead of this system brings up to 1-2" of snow along the MidCoast tonight. A change to rain is expected closer to the coast tomorrow.

Latest USDM reduced the extreme drought across both ME and NH. ME dropped from 31.17% area last week to 3%, and NH reduced from 29% to 0%. The change in classification is the result of improved surface conditions; however, groundwater deficits remain. #nhwx #mewx
