I reject the Mormon baptism I received at eight years old, and I reject any future baptism by proxy performed in my name. I reject the counterfeit priesthood I was told I possessed. I reject Joseph Smith as a prophet of God, and I reject the Book of Mormon as the Word of God.
I hereby excommunicate the LDS Church from my life and reject the false mormon god’s claims of authority over me. I want no part in its false ordinances, counterfeit priesthood, or false gospel which will only lead to damnation.
I belong to Jesus Christ. My hope is in Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone, to the glory of God alone.
If you are LDS and you are reading this, come to Christ. Turn from the teachings of Joseph Smith and trust in the Jesus Christ revealed in Scripture. Your eternal salvation depends on it. Do not put your trust in a church, a prophet, or religious ordinances. Put your trust in Christ alone.

Utah home prices are a disaster.
When I ask my boomer family members who own homes for advice on how to afford a home, they seem completely unaware of the fact that you now have to make $150k/year to BARELY afford even a STARTER home in WEST VALLEY. Good luck anywhere else.
The only advice they have for me now is to "have faith and pay tithing" because there are genuinely no other options.
Companies in Utah want to pay workers 2005 salaries still. Even if you have a job, they're constantly looking to outsource your job out of the country or replace it with AI.
It doesn't matter if you did everything how you were told: got the degree, landed multiple jobs after college, have zero debt, have a perfect credit score, have both cars paid off, etc. and it's still not even enough to be HALFWAY there. You have to have two earners making $80k+ each. Good luck trying to let your wife stay home with the kids.
Great job everyone. A real wonderful American Dream we have now. Gen Z has been completely sold down the river.
Maybe we can all find nice mobile homes for $150k before they get popular.
