Why does Paul’s faithfulness as a steward matter if he’s saved? Accountable to what? Isn’t his anxiety a grave sin against this “knowing” you speak of? Therefore, Paul shows he had no faith and was not saved according to Protestant logic.
How preposterous...1 Corinthians 4:1–5 concerns Paul's faithfulness as a steward, not whether he's saved.
Paul also wrote:
Romans 8:1: “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
Romans 8:16: “The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”
2 Timothy 4:8: “There is laid up for me the crown of righteousness.”
And 1 John 5:13 explicitly says believers can KNOW they have eternal life.
You're confusing accountability with assurance.
The Bible is at the same time a temporal and everlasting collection. Temporal in that it directly addressed the times when the events occurred, everlasting in that it informs today and what is to come. Ignoring its temporal purpose leads to this facile neo- fundamentalism.

Dude who brings up “blood memory” would like you to know you’re an ignoramus.
This has managed to get quite the response. It shows the continuing divide in this country, that we have so many people who have no connection to our past, no blood memory, as most are first or second generation foreign born. And it shows, just what I predicted would happen.
Most negative comments are by ignoramuses, trolls with few followers, still in the basement, who missed the main point entirely. And no I won’t explain it to you!
