Slots can't have aria attrs cuz it's role doesn't allow it, it's not semanticly correct?

It brings me no great pleasure to say that for all intents and purposes, @TwitterA11y is defunct.
I wish it wasn't – there was so much we had planned – but here we are.

Why is there no deaf star trek character? The universal translator should be able to handle it right? Converts sign language to audio + vice versa...
They can make the audio sound like anything:
- male or female voice; high or low, accents
- sound effects, any sound
When someone else is talking, a hologram of hands doing sign language is projected.
The universal translator knows if they're not talking to anyone...
...the audience sees text while they're signing. Or maybe the translator doesn't know when they're not talking to anyone... I'm just saying, this would be representation and a very cool character that could exist in any #startrek iteration. Personally voting for #lowerdecks
