Installed @MinimalistPhone 5 mins of social media a day is plenty. It saddens me that I need an app to achieve what should be self-control, but modern platforms aren’t really designed to be used in moderation, but designed to keep us scrolling. Time to take that time back.

Had a fantastic day at @WALKTHRUs_5 BIG Classroom hosted at our very own @QueenElizHigh. So many brilliant takeaways and small refinements to our practice that I can’t wait to implement within the team. Thank you @teacherhead!

This is going to be excellent. A little star struck that I get to experience this in person.

Awful building. No space. No sports facilities. Every reason this school shouldn’t work. But just look…the kids understand that the adults are in control. Everyone understands their role. They work together.

Next Sat we are taking THREE HUNDRED kids to Rugby League Ashes match Eng vs Aus at Wembley! 20 will carry England’s flag on to the pitch in Michaela uniform🥳 So we showed them rugby in the yard. Mr B against yr 8! He tricks them but vid 2/2👇shows them taking him down😂

No student in my class will ever take notes. Not an option. Occasionally, a student or parent will request it. The answer is always no.

It’s taken me a long time but I’ve finally reached 1000+ ELO on @chesscom in just under one year of playing. This has been a learning journey of self discipline and patience I didn’t think possible. Onto 1100! Then maybe OTB… ♟️🍾
