We saw this in London & had to get it down to Woking. Growing up here in a massive #irishcommunity everything @KateKerrigan6 says is true, funny & insightful. When called out on accent my Dad said to say ‘remind them you were also Irish when it was unfashionable’ @FieryBirdVenue
@FieryBirdVenue 21 Oct the incredible @KateKerrigan6 brings her wit, wisdom & bitter experience to #woking with a lot of laughs along the way @Woking_NewsMail @surreylive @Roundaboutmag @BBCSurrey @SurreySMEF

Performing poetry is a particular passion & I host Poetry & Pizza #openmic at Solar Sisters Cafe in #Guildford on the middle Wednesday 🎤🍕
On the last Thursday of the month I co-host the @WOLPoetry #Woking #openmic at the @FieryBirdVenue @PhoenixCultural 🎤🎉

I’m also 1/3 of the wonderful @BoomingLovelies with @HeatherMoulson & Trisha Broomfield 💕
When not performing I’m writing new #poems for #poetrycompetitions or #pamphlets - inspired by visiting gardens & walking the dog -a mix of nature, nostalgia and comments on modern life 🐕

Thanks @CrowleyOnAir your support is so appreciated, it was a highlight evening for us having you down for your excellent Q&A
The @FieryBirdVenue is a grassroots music venue that could do with our support (if you can help) to get back on its feet after a recent break in & flooding.
I was there back in 2019.
I loved the vibe & people who work there - #woking needs this place!
