A Poem Written Dancing in a Blue Flash A mad angel takes your fancy as she smiles Will you still sing me when she plays for real It was ninteen sixty-six when you made mine Even our ghosts know why we love to dance. Your guitar a fire we sandcastle like our words Each chord becomes a sigh our lips breathe A poet meets us in dying light as we celebrate Her touch asks if a poem knows how to samba. I feel your wings lifting mine as we decide fate A lonely crescent moon kisses what we touch Haunted eyes share more stories than we do By the time we’ve finished only lovers remain. 📸: ESO Guillaume Blanchard captures the rather rare blue flash while observing the sunset on Christmas eve from the Paranal Residencia.
