Absolutely. It's embarrassing but they must get their sweetheart Issie a W
New plan. Seeing as SL fans base teams on their travelling fans we should go by teams represented in Perth this weekend. So far I've got Hull, Rovers, Leeds, Warrington, Wigan, York and St Helens.
Wonder what the ratings were on Premier Sports?

“Firstly, thank you to the players for putting on an absolute spectacle,” he said.
“Our production team at Seven, led by Lesley Tapsall delivered a fresh, innovative and glass half full broadcast, setting the standard for what’s to come over the next four weeks. A huge thank you also to our commentary team, who set the tone from the start of the coverage and coloured in the incredible action on field.
“We’ve seen record-breaking audiences for the AFL Grand Final, the NFL at the MCG, an incredible Bathurst 1000 and now the Rugby League World Cup, showcasing the power of Seven’s platform and our ability to bring Australians together for the moments that matter.
If you want more rugby league in October and November, there’s nowhere else to look than Seven, 7plus, Triple M and LISTNR.”
Seven Network Head of Rugby League World Cup, Lesley Tapsall said: “Opening night captured everything that makes a Rugby League World Cup so special, from the intensity of the Australia-New Zealand clash to the individual stories that emerge when the world’s best players come together on the biggest stage.
“Seeing debutant Jack Bostock claim Player of the Match was a great reminder of the moments and stories that make this tournament so compelling," she said.
"We cannot wait to bring fans more of that drama and world-class rugby league across the next four weeks.

Australia nz rugby league World Cup game cracks 1.7 million
For comparison around 3 times as many viewers as the bledisloe got last week between the same teams
That’s a massive number and on par with nrl and afl finals games

The West Australian at it again. I'm not sure if I've slipped into a parallel universe. The back page, a decent write up and advertising for today's games.

All very well Jack Bostock scoring a hat-trick in the World Cup, but he’ll never score one in Le Treize Tournoi like his dad did 😉

This is going to get ugly quickly if this deal collapses, by the way. The term 'civil war' has been put to me by more than one person close to this deal. Super League is completely in limbo: no sponsor, no schedule, no format, no start date, no clarity on teams. It's mid-October

Isaah Yeo knocking out 80 minutes captaining Australia with a ruptured pec is INSANE.
Players don’t come back from this injury without surgery because the strength and functional loss is too significant. Yeo out there making 53 tackles (0 missed) & 141 metres is unbelievable.
Yeo’s pec rupture return story has been covered, but I would argue not enough. Can’t find a case of this being done before at this level in pro contact sports. Rewriting textbooks #RLWC26
