This has not left my head since hearing it live last night. Such a good support act. youtube.com/watch?v=wv79bbyt…

Officially reached that age where I had to go to a gig on my own and it wasn't actually that bad.

My new favorite thing - Bing's new ChatGPT bot argues with a user, gaslights them about the current year being 2022, says their phone might have a virus, and says "You have not been a good user" Why? Because the person asked where Avatar 2 is showing nearby

What's the go-to resource for learning materials on #GA4? As much as it pains me, I'm going to have to start getting familiar with it sooner rather than later. #SEO #google #Analytics

Why am I seeing job adverts in Aberdeen for Social Media Managers offering £10 an hour and requiring a minimum of 3 years experience? You could walk into Sainsbury's and get £11 an hour to stack shelves with no experience. Another prime example why talent doesn't thrive here.

The level of work coming out of Aberdeen digital agencies has really dropped over the last few years. There are a few that still produce great work, but there's so many cowboys popping up these days offering floor level prices that just kills the web scene in the area.

It leaves unrealistic pricing expectations for any potential clients looking for a website, meaning that the good agencies and the talented designers and developers can't thrive without heading elsewhere. This applies to most digital services and not just website builds.

We're devastated to share that our colleague and dear friend, @bill_slawski has passed away. Words simply cannot express our sadness. We are forever grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Bill. We’ll share much more info and arrangements as it comes available to us.

Lovely stuff. Relaunching my personal site after a full rebuild and content rewrite and it's jumped straight in to the top 5 of some important commercial intent keywords. Launched the MVP and now I'm not sure I want to tamper with the content that I'm not fully happy with. #SEO

Aye, but how is it nearly 2022?

@AberdeenCC Have just sat on hold for 30 minutes and got down to 9th in the queue only for the call to hang up. The online system is useless. So now back on hold for another potential 40 minutes with no guarantee the same won't happen again.

Council tax hasn't automatically taken payment on a direct debit which should still be set up and received a payment overdue letter. The same payment details have been in place for three years with no issues. Why now are there issues?

How they can consider easing of lockdown when we're still in the numbers of thousands of infections a day and hundreds of deaths a day is beyond me. Other countries were down into the low hundreds and double digits before opening. Terrifying that they think we're at a stage

where things can be eased and we won't see a boom in cases again.
When you look outside it's easy to see why. The number of people wandering the streets has definitely had a major increase over the last week or so. It doesn't help that more places are starting to open making life feel closer to normal. I can see this spike rising even more.
