Thank you to the @tmbw Discord for some crowdsourced help!
The artists hurt the very most by generative AI were the people who drew your family in front of The Simpsons house
Extremely proud to get to build a beautiful site showing off the amazing work OK Go has done this year, which has netted them two Grammy nominations. Wish them luck!

What a year it’s been for us: our first album in forever, a bunch of new videos, and so many unforgettable shows. So many podcasts and plane flights and sound checks and homecomings.
We’re deeply grateful that what we’ve made has connected the way it has. Art isn’t about awards—it’s about how deeply the work connects, not how widely it travels. Still, it’s a huge honor to have our peers recognize our work with two GRAMMY Award® nominations this year. With voting beginning next week, we’ve put together a deeper dive into the two nominated projects, in case you’d like a closer look. Please enjoy, and feel free to share. We hope it gives a sense of how these ideas come to life—and just how many incredible people it takes to make them real.
Head to okgo.net/fyc to check it out.

Made a daily @tmbw game! It's difficult!

We've launched a new daily game: TMBG Wiki Detective! tmbw.net/game
Each day you'll be presented with a list of song themes from TMBW for a specific studio TMBG track. Guess incorrectly 2+ times to get hints. Can you identify a @tmbg song based on its lyrical themes?
Incredibly, an early version of one of my favorite @tmbg songs was hidden on The Spine Surfs Alone EP disc, deep inside a Macromedia Flash project file, undiscovered for 20+ years until last night. Another discovery out of the @tmbw Discord!

Surprised that @alyankovic who is otherwise a perfectionist is fine with his music videos being turned into upscaled mush on his official YouTube channel.
The DVD from over 20 years ago looks drastically better!
Last night at The Curse finale screening in NYC @benny_safdie called up @nathanfielder, brought a slingshot to fling shirts into the crowd, and stayed around answering everyone's questions after the theatre closed. Legend
They stuck the landing on the finale - TV brilliance
New @tmbg upload: a fresh edit of the recording sessions and interviews during the making of "Am I Awake?" at NYC's Skyline Studios around 20 years ago, originally released on a promotional DVD for the TLC miniseries Resident Life. (1/2)

The raw footage had always felt a bit hastily thrown together, so it was fun digging through to attempt a narrative. The only prior footage of this online was a 240p screen capture!
Thanks to @TeeDeeKay for providing a rip of the disc and encouraging me to work on this! (2/2)
Previously thought to be lost, @tmbg's first appearance on Nick Rocks from March 1988 has been dug up and digitized by the show's then-producer, Neil Krupnick! Featuring two complete in-studio performances.

Thanks so much to Mr. Stewart for providing audio, photos and all of this info! He is an absolute gent and beyond generous with his time, and was so happy to hear how many people have enjoyed this song since the '80s!
