Had to put up a simple site today. Between @dnsimple and win-acme (win-acme.com/), I had the server set up in < 10 minutes (and it worked the first time! 😃) Adding in that @brandonlehr was able to use Create React App to quickly develop it and we're off to the races!
Tell you what, win-acme is so easy & nice, I'm off to make a donation. I had already been using it and adding another site/cert took less than two minutes. Just a reminder if you really get a lot of value from some open source projects and can spare some $$, please consider it.
Wow. Loyal @turbotax user for years... this year's version is BUGGY. Activation screen is blank unless you adjust resolution (ttlc.intuit.com/community/ta…). Other popups and popup forms are the same, including me trying to pay at the end. This is NUTS!

When I started messing around with 3D printing in July, I got frustrated when the "solution" given to almost every problem was "level your bed". Seemed too simple and unhelpful. Now, almost 6 months later, the solution to like 80+% of the problems really *IS* "level your bed".
I don't know if it is a technology problem or a process/procedure problem and I don't care. When I have to enter my account number and info into an IVR and the first thing a rep does is ask me for the same info when they get on the phone, that is a gigantic fail.
We did "screen popping" 20 years ago at Chase Mortgage. The call came in, we would grab the info handed off, and pre-load the person's loan information in our application. At most, they should just confirm who they are speaking with (like AT&T asking for the PIN) and go.
I'll tell you what. #HamilFilm did what @shondarhimes couldn't do alone. Crossovers kept trying to make me care about @Station19 while watching @GreysABC and I just didn't. But Hamilton introduced me to @OakSmash and now I'm watching Station 19 just for him. The dude is great!
