Is this the first ever photograph of a #snowman taken in Wales? This photograph was likely taken in 1853 by Thereza Llewelyn.
Right, a Collodion glass slide showing the South front of the Llewelyn home in @Penllergare.
As a result of Llewelyn’s Oxymel process, #landscape photographers did not need to carry large portable photographic labs and #darkrooms with them.
The Illustrated London News in 1856 wrote that;

A mid 19th century observatory in @Penllergare has been awarded @SwanseaCouncil funding for its restoration.
