Outreach teams and councils have more resources available to them during SWEP to rapidly support people rough sleeping into accommodation. Make Streetlink referrals for people who are rough sleeping. Should these kinds of resources be available regardless of weather? Yes.
A #coldsnap will hit the country later this week, with temperatures dropping well below freezing for several nights running.

LFT tests: Nose only doesn't work! Yesterday throat + nose (my only symptom was a sore throat). Today (after POSITIVE PCR) tried nose only (per leaflet). NEGATIVE! Same test done same time with nose + throat POSITIVE. How many people out there think they're clear? #covidchristmas

Omicron latest: Looks more transmissible than delta. Likely to become dominant strain. Can re-infect those who had delta recently. Can infect fully vaccinated. Unsure if vaccines protect against severe infection but likely. Priority: vaccinate & slow impact on NHS over winter.
