On August 27th, 2010, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 was promulgated after Kenyans voted overwhelmingly in favour of the landmark legislation. A turning point in Kenya's history which promised notable reforms in good governance, accountability, and the rule of law. Today as we observe 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐛𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲, we take a moment to reflect on the significance of this day and what it has meant for Kenya over the last 16 years. While we cherish and value the gains we have achieved, we also reflect on the gaps in implementation and ask ourselves what more can be done.
