Was there a portion that discussed how their origins as an NFT project plays into their direction? From just these slides can't make out the difference between Doodles and any other creative brand with a digital presence.

Looking for someone experienced with #Ethereum #MEV / #flashbots that's willing to answer a few questions. Happy to pay the going rate for an hour of your time.
You think THIS is going to end Twitter? Y'all really don't know the history of Twitter, do you? CC: @nickbilton #RIPTwitter

Their reference implementation puts them in control of which addresses can transfer NFTs. If it gains adoption then NFTs will shift from open, decentralized assets to permissioned assets ruled by OpenSea. This introduces significant centralization and regulatory risk to NFTs.
This is actually a very important nuance. VC's getting token allocations at same price as the public is way more transparent than the token as equity deals that happen now. You can't imagine the price investors get on tokens pre-public launch.

2/ In 2017/18, ICOs were the main driver of capital allocation as opposed to VC. ICOs were riddled with scams & terrible ideas, but the Public ICO model was more democratic than what we have today. Sure, VCs were investing, but it could be on the same terms as your average joe.
Most VCs in #crypto space are comfortable funding long shots, but only a few were willing to bet on the dangerous, disruptive ones. For better or worse, we lost a major force this week with collapse of #FTX / Alameda. Wonder if there’s any VC still willing to fill that void.

Obviously, next we'll learn FTX has been operating out of a secret basement in a home in Korea this whole time.

It's always the days you should stay off Twitter that you find yourself ON Twitter. #crypto #FTX
Love / hate this - love the ingenuity of people when faced with challenges, but hate the loophole is probably being utilized by users with resources to employ it.
Apparently this is a Bahamas account withdrawing other people's funds for them. They are likely bypassing the internal balance transfers block by selling NFTs on FTX's NFT marketplace -- eg. Bahamas account creates an NFT, the stuck user buys the NFT with their full balance.

Anyone have pointers on how to conduct user research on #shopify store owners? Have had mixed results with very targeted ads and contacting stores I've shopped with. Seems there's no mechanism for willing merchants to sign up for paid user research sessions. #ecommerce

This afternoon, FTX asked for our help. There is a significant liquidity crunch. To protect users, we signed a non-binding LOI, intending to fully acquire FTX.com and help cover the liquidity crunch. We will be conducting a full DD in the coming days.

It's interesting to see many of the tools myself and team have built privately for high-volume traders get integrated into this new platform. Will be fun to build new ones to leverage this new faucet of volume.
For the last 6 months I have been the “Chief Zen Officer” for @blur_io. But what is Blur, what is a CZO, and what does this mean for you? In this thread i’ll break it down:

Volume traders becoming centralized opens up some new opportunities that the current bifurcation just didn't offer.
