Telco & antitrust attorney, advocating for low-income communities BIPOC communities, and folks with disabilities. Fueled by bottomless rage. Tweets are my own.

Hello to all my new followers! I'm not sure why you decided to follow me, but here's what you're going to get: 1. Snarky commentary on antitrust, tech policy, and racial equity; 2. Occasional long rants about right-wing dumbassery; 3. Outdated cultural references (80's & 90's).

If it's the duty of every disabled person in the UK to work, it's the duty of the UK to be fully accessible & inclusive to said disabled people? I work, because I'm lucky enough to be able to, but I'm still unable to enjoy even basic things as I would do if I wasn't disabled.

BREAKING: America's largest egg producers and industry groups illegally rigged the market to drive up the price of eggs, a jury has found. Their price-fixing scheme included exporting millions of eggs overseas to drive up U.S. prices around Thanksgiving and Easter.

Honestly the most demotivating soul crusher for a high performing knowledge worker isn't doing a cognitively hard project. It's doing a hard project that never gets acknowledged and just sets the bar impossibly further.

Wheelchair users have been trying for ages to raise awareness about their wheelchairs being broken so often when they fly, and the devastating impact this has on them. @AmericanAir baggage handlers decided to give a demonstration of how much they enjoy breaking them 😡

How old were you when you learned the reason Reading Rainbow was canceled is because No Child Left Behind disqualified them for prior grants & book publishers kept increasing the cost of reading books on TV?

Few truisms are more central to 21st century Silicon Valley than "Our technology will be worth a lot less if we have to compensate people fairly for their labor"
“Andreessen Horowitz is warning that billions of dollars in AI investments could be worth a lot less if companies developing the technology are forced to pay for the copyrighted data that makes it work.” This is NOT from the @TheOnion www-businessinsider-com.cdn.…

Big time yes to all of this … and good luck telling Jewish people how they should be Jewish, as we’re a famously non argument-based culture, right?
As Israelis try to police who gets to be Jewish in America, they shouldn’t be surprised as American Jews start turning against Israel. Jewish culture in America is not organized around Israel like it used to be.

Why don’t you go ask them while they’re suffering. Go hold down some grandpa and make him answer. What is wrong with you people.

Many friendships will be forever lost after these few weeks. Many social media mutuals too, which can be as important as offline friends. I hope when the temperature goes down a bit, some of these connections can be readdressed and even mended. They’ll be stronger for it.
There is just so much loss to be mourned. Some of which include lifelong friends. I am personally so heartbroken and hurt. People who know me and my values are choosing vitriol over conversation. There aren't words to describe this betrayal and pain.

Most people don't realize the vast majority of Zionists in the US are evangelical Christians, not Jewish people. Zionism wouldn't have a stranglehold on public policy without the political power/financial backing of right-wing Christians who are trying to bring on the end times.

The biggest problem with the monopolization and financialization in our economy is how brittle our society has become. We can't flexibly change production to meet different needs. It's very Soviet, all done to suit the needs of middlemen and bureaucrats

Look, many Jews view the phrase "from the river to the sea" as a deeply anti-Semitic dog whistle, and all the "folks are misinterpreting what protesters mean by "from the river to the sea" articles/hot takes are failing to acknowledge that. It's about impact, not intent. /1

And while I admit that I'm 100% freaked out that Israel is unabashedly committing genocide right now, as a Jew, I can't help but think that there are quite a few people in power who see a political benefit in destroying solidarity between Jews and Palestinians. /2

Completely agree. This genocide is absolutely a #DisabilityRights issue and disabled orgs, activists, and community members need to keep speaking up. Denial of medical aid; destroying hospitals & accessible infrastructure; inaccessible comms all disability rights issues.

Not gonna retweet a blue check, but, "There's no reason to make those facial expressions with sign language!" Facial expressions are literally part of ASL, so yes, actually, there is a reason.
