I enjoy the majesty of Augusta, but @royalbirkdale is a vision of natural beauty this morning. @TheOpen is the best championship in golf. Atmosphere, anticipation and great players displaying their craft. The soundtrack of The Open is unique. Golf in its rawest form.👌

Always still amazes... Trevino & Lu on the 71st hole of The Open at Birkdale... and LT needed a birdie on the last to beat him by one. Incredible stuff.

In '22 we took 13 acres of market garden left of the 12th hole at @KingstonHeathGC & created a new 9-hole short course. “The Furrows” features 9 holes, played from 70m - 140m & designed to give golfers the same experience as playing the main course, albeit from a shorter distance

Woeful performance from Peter Bankes & Officials. Fully deserved 3pts. Ramsdale save up there with Pickfords.
Trippier & Joelinton immense. Big few games ahead! #NUFC #EddieHowesBlackandWhiteArmy

It’s a credit to where Eddie Howe has taken Newcastle to think it should be a “rivalry” Liverpool are 20 x champions with 6 champions lgs.Having spent a billion quid over the last 10 years
Eddie has taken Newcastle from 2nd bottom to top four twice and a trophy…
Give him time👍🏼
Liverpool vs Newcastle should be a great rivalry, not this ritual humiliation #nufc #lfc telegraph.co.uk/football/202…

Saturday night TV is pretty poor these days, and that includes Match Of The Day.
Wasn’t like that in the mid to late 70s.
It was brilliant!

Congratulations to our Past Captain, His Honour Judge Dennis Watson KC, who today drives-in at The Old Course as the incoming Captain of The Royal and Ancient.
We are delighted for Dennis and the worthy recognition of his service to the game.
