Regional News has bigger audience than the national bulletins and is trusted by the public, and a lot of the credit goes to Bob Warman and his colleagues on both channels, TV bosses should take note and back BBC and ITV News in the Midlands

Mark, you need to go to the city council’s fact sheet on Balsall Heath which borders most of the ground. It says it has the 16th lowest average income out of the city’s 69 wards. And if you think it’s on the ‘outskirts’ you should look at Google maps too!

A huge shock to hear of the death of Jack Dromey. We have few enough conviction politicians as it is. Now we have lost one of the most valued friends of our BBC Midlands Sunday morning programmes. Jack will be much-missed in Parliament, Erdington and beyond…
