Huge congratulations to our Futurebuild group who are the first in Scotland to complete the SCQF Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit with @VerdancyGroup as part of NLC support for summer leavers programme 👏🦺🪚

This morning you could have heard a pin drop. 🧷 📌 Focus was 100% in the computer suite for our youth, some working on CV’s, some working on Personal Statements and those that attend Verdancy were working on their required qualification work. @VerdancyGroup

🌟Week 9🌟 Our groups have been learning about appropriate workplace behaviours and ways to deal with conflict. This will help prepare the groups on what is expected in the work place and how to deal with conflict in a professional manner. #PositiveVibes #ReadyToWork

🌟Early Years🌟 Our youth interested in Early Years completed 4weeks of child development, then started their phased nursery placements and have been doing amazing. 🤩🤩🙌🙌. #creativelearning @nlcpeople

🌟Week 8🌟 We had our Early Careers Team out talking with our youth about Summer Placements and Modern Apprenticeships. A very useful session with loads of interesting information. 👍🤩 #WorkingTogether @nlcpeople

🌟Week 7🌟 Stepping outside a comfort zone can open the door to new opportunities. Our Engagement Team support young people with placements, building confidence, learning new skills, and investing in their futures 💪#Pathways #YouthEngagement #SkillsForLife

Allana has been on placement with our Vocational Education team, helping organise funding paperwork, logging laptops and being an all round fantastic help in the office. She’s a fast learner and is willing and able to help with every task asked of her. Go girl. 🤩@nlcpeople

🌟Week 6🌟 We had @PSOSLanarkshire out talking with us, this was a collaboration of what their partners had delivered over the last few weeks, but also creating positive relationships with the Police. A very inspiring session which led to a lot of questions and discussions. 🙌🏻

Pathways youth have been working extremely hard at @VerdancyGroup experiencing the process of retrofitting - learning about different types of insulation, air tightness and heat retention within buildings @nlcpeople

🌟Week 5🌟 We had the privilege of having Graeme Armstrong talking with our group’s about gang culture and how he turned his life around. This was really inspiring and insightful for our youth and all possible through our colleagues @CAPinScotland 🤩
