The Tiny Habits Method:
Make the habit you want to build so tiny that you cannot fail.
When you lack motivation and the habit you want to build is hard, then you won’t do it (50 push-ups).
However, when you lack motivation, but the habit is easy, you’ll do it (1 push-up)! 💪

I feel like we’re on the same page, the article you referenced emphasized the importance of active recall through testing, and spaced repetition/learning involves actively recalling information via the Leitner system (with Anki being the most famous SRS).
Practice getting over your fears one small step at a time and expand your comfort zone.

The Forgetting Curve shows that:
- Within 1 hour, people forget an average of 50% of new information presented to them.
- Within 24 hours, an average of 70% !
- And within a week, an average of 90% !!
To reduce forgetfulness, use the Spaced Repetition learning technique.

Form mini habits to reach ambitious goals.
Try practicing a new skill for 5 minutes every day. It may seem trivial at first, but the results will compound into impressive feats over time.
Here’s one of my favorite TED talks demonstrating this approach: youtu.be/TQMbvJNRpLE
