#UPDATE: Nearly 130,000 people are currently displaced inside #Yemen. Families have fled with little more than what they could carry and urgently need shelter, food, clean water, health care and protection. This latest escalation is deepening Yemen’s already severe humanitarian crisis, with 5.2 million people already displaced within the country and 63,000 seeking asylum.

Four days ago, on September 19, an airstrike hit a school in Doo Tha Htoo District in #Myanmar, very close to one of Partners' projects. During the attack, military aircraft dropped three large 500-pound bombs on the compound. The explosions completely destroyed all of the school buildings.
At this time, there are no definitive numbers on how many people have been affected by the attack.
Behind this bombing is a community—a child, a family, a life.
No child should have to fear for their life simply for going to school.
