When Cromwell's soldiers marched north to seize the crown jewels of Scotland, it was not a soldier who saved them. It was a minister's wife. Her name was Christian Fletcher. As Dunnottar Castle stood besieged on its sea cliff, she slipped the crown, sword, and sceptre out past the English lines, some say hidden in bundles of flax and wool. For years they lay buried beneath the floor of a humble country church at Kinneff. Because of her quiet courage, the honours of Scotland still exist today. Yet how many of us ever learned her name in school? #BloodOfTheGael #ScottishHistory #Dunnottar #HiddenHeroes #HonoursOfScotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👑⚔️💪

The English colonisers talking about Scotland, an English colony as now called in the UN system, and how to continue extracting & plundering the colony and in what ways. Steal more of its oil & gas or steal more of its renewables while making Scots pay the highest electricity prices in Europe. As an English colony, Scotland has begun its decolonisation via UN processes since the annexation & territorial alienation of Scotland is now fully demonstrated, supreme crimes in international law. The English colonial state will pay for its immense crimes in Scotland and the trillions stolen from the Scottish people. Colonial thieves.

Liberation Scotland is in Vienna meeting permanent members of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to discuss the colonized condition of Scotland, its unusual character as a dominion of a younger nation, England, and what can be done about it. As ever, we find ourselves talking to diplomats with a surprising and sympathetic understanding. But, then, we are talking to representatives of states with which we Scots had valued and long-standing trade and diplomatic relations. Why, after all, wouldn't they? A question asked is what the position is of Scotland's main nationalist party, the Scottish National Party. We have to explain that the international dimension of the restitution of Scotland's statehood continues to escape them.

Just to say Gordon that it's the Peaceful Scottish Liberation Committee (Liberation.scot) who are talking to the UN. Salvo.scot are 'holding the fort' in Scotland.

The English colonial state's double standards and colonial rhetoric. As an English colony, Scotland's right to self-determination under international law is completely blocked by the English colonial state so that Scotland is now decolonising through UN mechanisms. See you @UN

Prof Alf Baird: “On the matter of colonial racism, the dilemma for the colonizer and associated pathology (also affecting the colonized, but in a different way) is the real issue in a colonial society, according to Albert Memmi. Having habitually described the colony and its native people in mostly negative form, as in there being “no merits in the colonial community, recognizing neither its traditions, nor its laws, nor its ways, he (the colonizer) cannot acknowledge belonging to it himself”. And, no longer living in his native land, the result is that “the colonialist is unsure of his true nationality (because) he navigates between a faraway society… and a present society which he rejects and keeps in the abstract.” Thus, the characteristic which completes Memmi’s ‘portrait of the colonizer’, is that “the colonialist resorts to racism…. (as) racism sums up and symbolizes the fundamental relation which unites colonialist and colonized.” And colonial racism is essentially what we see in repeated anti-Scottish and anti-independence discourse, for “racism is a con-substantial part of colonialism.”

The lies of an English colonial propaganda bot 🤖 All the wealth is in Scotland. It's an English colony. That's what the English do in all their colonies: extraction.

Time for England to end the union, give up asset stripping Scotland, & try to survive without our natural resources. Good luck to Reform in freeing England to go it alone.

From Prof Alf Baird: Recent articles in The National questioning “Why are SNP figures not making a compelling case for independence?” It seems as if intellectuals on the left, including Shafi, Riddoch etc, still ignore postcolonial theory, which tells us the answer, as Fanon explained: – the dominant national party ‘makes an accommodation with colonialism’; – the party becomes ‘infiltrated’ by colonial actors; – the party elite ‘feathers its nest’ and ‘builds up its pensions’; – it ‘takes the movement up a blind alley’; – the party elite refuse to act on the most urgent matter of ‘freeing the people’ because they ‘fear the colonizers tanks and planes’; – it ‘attacks the radicals in the party’ also ‘using colonial forces’ to punish them; – it ‘behaves like a gang’ and appoints its friends to key positions; – the party ‘depends on slogans’ and leaves the matter of independence’ to future events’; – the party ‘becomes calcified’, immobile, unable to move forward; – it lacks any ‘innovation’ on the cause; – it ‘delays independence’ which is what leads ‘to conflict’; – it ‘ruptures the movement’; – it works ‘to keep the racket going; – the elite become ‘colonial watchdogs’; – and, finally, once the people figure out they have been duped, ‘the national party disintegrates’, which is what we are seeing now.

"You do not leave a live foundation [The 1689 Claim of Right] standing unless you cannot remove it."
"A parliament claiming unlimited power over Scotland has left the one instrument that denies the claim standing on the books, untouched, for three hundred years. You do not leave a live foundation standing unless you cannot remove it." At the heart of Scotland's colonial capture is the Scottish Judiciary; a living paradox whose own benches, having declared at the highest level English parliamentary sovereignty unlawful in Scotland, exercise an iron fist over the people of Scotland to impose it. We may oppose 100% a law introduced in Scotland, yet the foundational instrument that guarantees our authority to reject that law - the Claim of Right - is disarmed by a Scots Judiciary whose very authority springs from that instrument. There is the paradox, laid bare; that which accompanies each and every facet of the Anglo-British state's annexation of Scotland and ultimately makes a mockery of the British constitution that is widely recognised in international legal circles. As Liberation Scotland witnessed in conversation in Geneva only last week. Eòin Màrtainn is examining here in detail something of great importance - the Scottish Judiciary as the stentorian guard of annexation. Please read. substack.com/@foundationscot…

The imperial empire of little englandshire uses the votes of Scotland and Wales to maintain their elevated position. We leave and take our votes back; they will be relegated to a single voice in the arena and kicked off all the panels they think they are entitled to serve on.
The voluntary partner narrative, must be torn down, because Scotland, the dependency of England calling itself the UK - Scotland, the non self governing territory - has a route to achieving its right to self determination...That is the one liberation Scotland is now taking with our partners: liberation, decolonization, the restoration of sovereignty to a colonized people grounded in international law and universal human rights.
