Every response to this announcement should prominently feature mockery of/hate for @WonderlandNews for replacing artists w/ AI slop. Paying an artist for this graphic would have been a drop in the financial bucket for @SixFlags. The backlash needs to hurt more than those pennies.

In a devastating move, the sign at Six Flags America has been removed premature of its Sunday closure.
Don't know who in the industry needs to hear this, but I hope that the entertainment team members at @SixFlagsDC find good homes in the industry. What they're consistently able to pull off with LITERALLY PENNIES is REALLY impressive. They've always punched WAY above their weight.
This is ESPECIALLY true during Halloween when they've consistently offered *FAR* better FrightFest houses and scarezones than you could find at the nearby @SFGrAdventure or @BuschGardensVA.

Gotta hand it to @SixFlags—announcing the closure of @SixFlagsDC without any plans for how to handle current passes is impressive, but that pales in comparison to then jacking up the price of said SFA passes right as you're announcing the park's permanent closure. Wild behavior.

Sad to see another unannounced attraction bloodbath out of the new Six Flags chain in 2025. If this can happen at Carowinds—the center of a lot of focus and investment by Cedar Fair recently—it could happen ANYWHERE. Other parks should be shaking in their boots right now. 😬
As part of a multi-year expansion, #Carowinds will debut two new family rides in 2025 & a record-breaking water ride in 2026.
As we evolve, we'll be retiring Nighthawk, Scream Weaver & Drop Tower. Goodbyes can be hard, but we're excited about the future.
