Great joy as we celebrate this significant milestone in the church and to give thanks for our 3 amazing female clergy ( 2 priests and a distinctive deacon) and all they bring to parish life. Great video from @deacon_shaped @chelmsdio

Friends, as we prepare for Lent, take a few moments to reflect on this holy season and to remind yourself what it’s all about. This is a time for us to come face to face with our mortality, our moral frailty, and our need for forgiveness. It’s a time to get back to spiritual basics!

Every parish needs a deacon 😊
Taking a moment in the service this morning to reaffirm my diaconal vows, with the congregations I serve, recognising the continuing call of God to the distinctive edges & spaces I inhabit as a deacon. No official liturgy out there so we’ve written our own! #ordinal @CofeDeacons
