There are many things in modern life that are outrageous. Toddlers on social media, using smartphones and particularly accessing live content (a carousel of 'anything goes') should ring all alarm bells. Thanks to @Ofcom for their work on this, for @juliangrenier for highlighting these disturbing facts in his brilliant LinkedIn blog and for @IWFhotline which has been trying to warn the world for months that they are now seeing increasing numbers of 3-6 year olds being targeted by sexual perpetrators online.

Just in case we are in any doubt regarding the depravity that pornography sites populate, circulate and profit from.

Giving one's child a smartphone for 'safety reasons' on the way to school in big cities doesn't add up - they are more likely to be targeted by street criminals if using a phone AND more likely to distracted using the phone when crossing roads etc - if parents need an alternative way of finding out their child has arrived safely at school, they do exist.
