Their passion and commitment to our mission are at the heart of the progress we’re making toward a future where pancreatic cancer is detected earlier, patients are connected to the best care from day one and breakthroughs reach people faster.

It was too late for my husband but I can advocate for others who need a cure. Together We Can.💜🙏@PanCAN
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most challenging cancers, but there is hope — and progress. Since 1999, PanCAN has been leading the fight against pancreatic cancer through research, patient support, advocacy and community action. We’re working to accelerate pancreatic cancer research, advance early detection, connect patients to the best care and improve survival. But our work isn’t finished. We won’t stop until pancreatic cancer is caught early, every patient has access to the treatment they deserve, and survival is the expectation — not the exception. It’s going to take all of us. Together, we can change the story of pancreatic cancer. 💜 Visit 🔗 pancan.org to learn more.

Incredibly cool to bring these giants in KRAS biology and treatment together at @PanCAN Scientific Summit today and reminiscing over this 10-year-old video discussing whether KRAS will ever be druggable in #pancreaticcancer. Today, it finally is! 💜 youtu.be/S-AqilU-T64?is=bHuG…

Thank you @PanCAN for supporting our #PancreaticCancer research and congratulations to all the awardees! @Perlmutter_CC @nyugrossman
We are proud to announce that twelve grants have been awarded through two programs: The PanCAN Research Recovery Grants and PanCAN Catalyst Research Awards for use of Precision Promise℠ Biospecimens and Data. All grantees were selected through a peer-review process to ensure the merit and promise of the proposed projects. PanCAN Chief Scientific and Medical Officer Anna Berkenblit, MD, MMSc shares, “We have real momentum across multiple fronts — blood tests and AI for early detection, targeted treatments and understanding mechanisms of resistance. What patients need now is for all of us to bring those pieces together with urgency. That is exactly what PanCAN is built to do.” 💜 Read more about the 2026 PanCAN grant recipients and their innovative research projects, made possible through the generous support of PanCAN donors at 🔗 pcan.at/bs58394r.

My dad was given a death sentence upon diagnosis of metastatic pancreatic cancer in 2010. This is amazing news and just the beginning! #pancreaticcancer #pancan
A RAS inhibitor called Rasonque™ (daraxonrasib) is approved for the treatment of adults with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma who have received at least one prior systemic therapy or are not candidates for multiagent systemic therapy. This is now considered the new standard of care for patients with previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer after clinical trial results in this population showed a doubling of survival compared to chemotherapy as well as improved quality of life for patients. PanCAN Chief Scientific and Medical Officer @ABerkenblit, MD, MMSc shares, “The FDA approval of Rasonque™ is the most significant advancement we have ever seen in the fight against pancreatic cancer. This drug will transform how we treat pancreatic cancer – giving people the opportunity for more time with loved ones, the possibility of a better quality of life and renewed confidence that continued research will deliver even greater advances.” We are here to help. 💜 Contact PanCAN Patient Services for one-to-one support and free information about the disease and treatment options.
