BUZZ WORTHY: Love in the Sharpest Places. TayNew heads into dangerous territory with Pineapple Leaf Blade Picture two young Thai guys under the Hawaiian sun, hands cut up from pineapple leaves, passports locked away somewhere they can’t reach. One left home promising his mum he’d be back in a couple of years. The other is already scheming how to get out of the fields and into a hotel job. They’re stuck in the same exploitative system, far from everything familiar. And somehow, in the middle of all that heat and hardship, they start falling for each other. #PineappleLeafBlade #TayNew #TayTawan #NewThitipoom #GMMTV Photo Credits: Youtube GMMTV / Film Grab

BUZZ WORTHY: Love in the Sharpest Places. TayNew heads into dangerous territory with Pineapple Leaf Blade The story comes from a novel by S.E.A. Write Award winner Jidanun Lueangpiansamut (writing under her pen name). It was inspired by real cases of Thai workers who ended up on Maui pineapple farms years ago — the debt, the threats, the terrible living conditions, the way people were treated like they didn’t matter. The book is finished and already translated into English. It’ll be published in both Thailand and Hawaii next year, and the author is helping shape the series. #PineappleLeafBlade #TayNew #TayTawan #NewThitipoom #GMMTV Photo Credits: Youtube GMMTV / Film Grab

BUZZ WORTHY: Love in the Sharpest Places. TayNew heads into dangerous territory with Pineapple Leaf Blade Director Anucha “Nuchy” Boonyawatana (the one who did Not Me) is behind the camera. That alone tells you this won’t be light viewing. She’s good at letting quiet moments and big social issues sit side by side without forcing either. Fans are equal parts thrilled and braced for emotional damage, which is pretty much the perfect reaction. Pineapple Leaf Blade is still a love story. But it’s the kind that grows right through the thorns, because sometimes that’s the only soil available. Even this early, we’re already firmly seated for this highly anticipated series. #PineappleLeafBlade #TayNew #TayTawan #NewThitipoom #GMMTV Photo Credits: Youtube GMMTV / Film Grab

BUZZ WORTHY: Love in the Sharpest Places. TayNew heads into dangerous territory with Pineapple Leaf Blade Pineapple Leaf Blade is Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom’s next series, set for 2027. It’s a big shift from their usual softer romances. This one feels heavier, more grounded, and a lot more dangerous. Tay and New have always had easy chemistry. Here they’ll have to dig deeper. The trailer already hints at that — tired faces, careful touches, the kind of connection that feels necessary rather than convenient. #PineappleLeafBlade #TayNew #TayTawan #NewThitipoom #GMMTV Photo Credits: Youtube GMMTV / Film Grab
