Dear @Morrisons, on our delivery last week you sent beef with short use by date and we threw it away - No Sunday dinner. This week you couldn't find any beef to send us at all - No Sunday dinner again. Next week and thereafter, we'll be ordering from Sainsbury's. Bye.
Dear @sainsburys if you are going to drive your customers into self service tills, make sure they work properly. It was a dreadful checkout again today. The worst part of shopping at Sainsbury's is the last 10 mins, won't be visiting you again.
Dear @Morrisons I'm writing this standing in the queue of the one till open at Maldon. I did try the self service which is empty but there are no bags and no assistance. Why can't I just check out? What a terrible shop you have become.
Dear @Morrisons on today's order eggs, fish fingers & peanuts were out of stock. You've charged me £230.65 your receipt reads £211.80 Please return the overcharge immediately. Perhaps you should charge after delivery and not before. How can you run out of eggs and fish fingers?
Replying to @Morrisons
@Morrisons only one staffed till open at your Maldon store this morning with a queue of annoyed customers waiting. Not everyone wants to use the dreaded self service checkout where the machine shouts at you, please spare a thought for those who don't and open enough checkouts

OUR WORLD contrasts sharply with the inner world of silence. We're bombarded daily with the noise of our homes, workplaces, and entertainment sites. The media is always trying to get our attention. We live amidst the relentless roar of our machines, our tools, and our toys
Peace
Dear @Morrisons pictured are the milk stalls at your Maldon store this morning. I wanted 4 pints and would have been happy with 4x1pt, 2x2pt or 1x4pt but all that was there were 6 pint containers. So I'll be tipping 2 pints down the sink at the end of the week.
So all in all a disastrous shopping experience. And there was no milk last week either. But there was a nice man who brought some out, so it was fine.
Off to @sainsburys next week then .....
D-day veteran, 98, in hostel after eviction from Dorset home. How could this happen? This is not the 'land fit for heroes' they were promised. What a disgrace, he should be given another bungalow by tomorrow morning. Dorset councillors should be ashamed. theguardian.com/society/2023…
Oooh, a bumper crop of snowdrops in the garden this year, winter's grip is loosening and spring is on the way!

Lord grant us grace to wrestle with the storms until we name our fears and force them to set us free, to move on with whatever limp we are left with until the pain teaches and we befriend it, until the silence subdues us into an awareness that it is holy and we are healed by it.
Solly is snoring the fireworks away! Thank you @ClassicFM for playing such soothing music #PetClassics
Dear @Morrisons , I'm afraid that the Lewis & Green layer cake purchased in your Maldon store this morning didn't live up to expectations - the height of the box is twice the height of the cake -
RIP Judith Durham. You had a unique voice and gave the Seekers their unique sound. "We'll never find another you" #judithdurham
Dear @sainsburys you've been doing quite well recently, but it was back to your old tricks on yesterday's delivery. I've already sent back the wholemeal rolls (dry and shrivelled), the hot cross buns (short sell by date) and the jelly babies (damaged), but the milk is coming
So let's just recap:
No rolls
No buns
No jelly babies
No swede
No bread
Curdled milk
and it's 10.51 and I can't even have a cup of tea.
Perhaps "Sansbury's" would be a more appropriate name. 'Sans' from the French, meaning 'without'.
